This place has been transformed this place into a cozy, friendly local that is a delight to go into. It has a great Happy Hour from 6 to 9 with "2 for 1" drinks. They do nice bar snacks and the atmosphere is very "local". There are many special events and they always seem to have a party. Have a look on the website for details of the great things that are going on. The hosts are great at chat and would love to go home with you. It is a cross between a great host bar and a traditional "local" from 20 years ago over in England. The atmosphere is wonderful. This is the old Legun Bar which has now been converted into a standard Beer Bar. The space inside is comforatble enough, although I'm not sure I like the large step at the foot of the bar. I am also sure the bar is larger than needed, but hey! The lighting is good, the seats comfortable and the prices just slightly high but nothing to moan about. Just been taken over and about to have a new identity under it's new manager Quan. We shall see how it keeps its clientelle from before. Will now have a Belgian theme. On 27/01/10 Cav added "I have used Wan's for many years and always get a very warm welcome when I
return to Pattaya. Generally a popular bar with Farangs and Thais but can get a
bit noisy when a large group of Thais are there and the staff turn the music up

A new bar with an experienced owner. It has a stage at the back of the bar which is used for live music. As soon as I get any form of schedule or more details I will post them here. One of many bars in Pattaya called "Up 2 U"! The others are all girly bars and we don't go there do we? This one has some really cute guys working there who standing in the road and try to hi-jack you to come in! If you can get over the high pressure approach, you'll be fine. The lads, once you get inside, are good to talk to and very willing. Drinks are good and not expensive. Nice place. Check out the food too - good value, German food - very yummy! Memories bar has been established for a long time. The owners have given it a very expensive make over. It's looking great so far, so I wish them all the luck. Always had nice lads, who compete with the boys from Up 2 U to get you inside ! They now open at 1 pm through to the usual 2 am. They also do a range of food. It's a very new line. Good bar. The owner dresses his boys in sexy cammo gear and they look very good. Nice bar to sit and have a quiet drink. Small bar, slightly "tucked away", so it doesn't get the traffic it deserves. Friendly staff and reasonable priced drinks. Do give it a try! The Crazy Pub should have a plaque outside it as the very first gay bar to open in the area. It has been open for around 20 years and is still going strong. Does very well and has nice lads and nice atmosphere. I like it. Watch if you walk past for the shout of "Thank you for smiling". On 27/01/10 Trevor added: "After visiting Pattaya april 2008 I have been back now 4 times & i know i can always come back have a quiet drink & chat with the boys without being hastled. The owner, took the previous Pizza Parlour and has changed it very successfully into the Uniform Bar. He's taken the theme as the name and worked it into a good looking bar. He has nice boys who are friendly without being too pushy. The prices are right and the atmosphere is good. Well done! This is a big bar and is always full of farang. It's not so much a place to pick up fun, more a place to sit and watch who is going by in the Soi outside. Not too expensive and good atmosphere. Always busy and full of life, with plenty going on. Nicely decorated. Quite a respectable place! Under new ownership and doing well. Do nice burgers and chicken fingers. Nice place. Good layout, friendly boys and reasonable prices. I like this bar and felt at home here. Will visit again and really had a lot of fun! Great coffee. They have a small book library/shop at the back of the bar and also sell videos. The range of films is amazing from great classics to Coming fo Age films. Do visit. Just re-opened as a beer bar. It's brand new inside and has a cosy atmosphere. The boys looked nice and the atmosphere is cosy. It should do well as it's in the right place and has the right mix of good looking boys and good prices. I think this will become a favourite. This bar is rated by many as one of the best in Sunee Plaza. It is still packing them in after years and years of successful trading. Tucked away in the corner of Sunee this used to be Minou Nightclub. Now changed to Treetz, beer bar, it has yet to establish itself in a corner with a surplus of host bars already. The hosts were a bit "thin on the ground" when I visited last and the bar looked empty, but t has been dedcorated nicely and might do well.
