Grand hotel, Bar and cabaret show. It's not the cheapest, but has all the amenities, such as swimming pool, Japanese spa etc. Give it a try! I've been there and it's got a good show - they've worked hard on it. Plus points - good show and cheap drinks considering. Minus points - uncomfortable seats and the karaoke after the show!
The former BJ's bar has now been gutted, knocked into the unit next door and has reopened as a shiny new gay beer bar. The boys are keen, the prices reasonable and the atmosphere is good. Well worth popping in to and having a look.
The boys really do well here. They come up and make you feel welcome, yet they are not overpowering. It's small but that's not a problem. They have a pool table and also do massage upstairs. The massage isn't too professional, but the rest of the service in the private room is really good! Nice place!
This is a larger place with many facilities. It has a large open air beer bar which opens from 3pm. The boys here also do massage as well as wait tables. The massage is good if you get the right lad. They know what you want and you definitely get it here! They also have a coffee shop and a small guesthouse upstairs. So it's got a bit of everything. I have spent many lazy afternoons here when I've not been busy.
Personally I've always had a good time here, but some of my friends haven't been so lucky. It used to be run by Monty (predictably). They have a very sexy cabaret later in the evening. The posted time is 10.00 as long as customers are there. Sometimes there is other dancing and occasionally one or two of the boys will spontaneously dance on the small stage.
On 25/03/09 Martin added the following comment: "great shows and you can have a drink with all the performers afterwards . Worth seeing it and if you are lucky, the boys are available too. "
Shame about the pun in the name. This bar deserves a chance and do pop in and give it one. It's got a lot to offer (and the cocktails are good but expensive!)
Nice bar. It used to be in the other half of the Complex, and was closed for about a year. However it has re-opened and looks very nice. It's open from 4 pm to 1 am. A nice bunch of boys and a friendly feel made this a good place to be. If you're in the Complex I would certainly recommend you pop in.
I think this is where Zodiac used to be. I used to like Zodiac and Festival is just as good. It has a nice terrace outside which it shares with the Duo House and some inside seating. The boys who work here are very friendly and I like going in for a chat - they will like chatting to you too. They also do massage (although I have yet to try this). It opens at 3 like most bars in Jomtien and stays open 'til late.
Opened by the former owners of Ozz bar, this bar/guesthouse is a welcome addition to the beach scene. It's got a good menu at reasonable prices and provides a nice breakfast on the way to the beach. They are continuing the evening entertainment from Ozz and with just a bit of luck will do very well.
This place is not in the Complex, but on the main road to the beach. once you've battled your way through the jungle at the entrance, it's small but fun inside. Open from noon to midnight. It's crowded late afternoon with people leaving the beach. The boys are a little older, but very willing.
Graham added the following comment: Really liked this bar every previous visit to Pattaya. Ideal to relax & wait
for the 10 Baht Taxis after a leisurely (or exhausting!) day on the beach.
This is a small bar in the back of the Jomtien area. It's behind Papa David's. it's nice appointed, and has comfy chairs. but when I went there, (about 10 pm on a Tuesday) there were only two boys and the owner. The hetero pub next door was thronging with people. I can't help thinking this is a nice bar in the wrong place. But please visit and prove me wrong.
