The photos of boys in any venue’s profile does not indicate they actually work there currently. Due to the temporary nature of work in Pattaya, waiters and hosts come and go with alarming regularity. Although we attempt to keep the list of venues up to date, it would be a never ending task keeping the pictures up to date. However we do try …

All of Me

All of MeA good bar at the start of the wide part of Sunee Plaza. Possibly the best place inside the Plaza to sit and watch the world go by as you have the advantage of looking down the “T” junction. Helpful waiters and interesting patrons fill this bar, and the Manager – Boy – will make sure you are looked after well.

Give then a call in as you walk around the soi.

Update 19/06/11 The bar has just re-opened after a second closure for refurbishment. It’s now looking really trendy and sexy. The transformation is really good and you will find it a different looking place. Pop in and see what Boy has done with it!

All of Me Too

UPDATE 14/01/12 Bar AND massage now open.
This is a really nice addition to Sunee Plaza. It’s the first massage place in the soi. The downstairs bar is welcoming and professionally laid out. The prices are right and the service is good. You can sit there and drink with your friends or one of the boys if you don’t want to go upstairs. However, it’s only when you do get upstairs that you realise this is a good place. There are 4 rooms (which is why the bar is available – you might have to wait if they get busy). Each room has a private shower and massage bed.

It’s seductively lit (which meant it was a nightmare to photograph). The prices are reasonable and very comparable to similar places in the area. A Thai massage for one hour is just 400B. (You are expected to tip the boy after.) There are options of oil and cream, and 2 hand or 4 hand. Finally you can choose 1 hour, 90 minutes or two hours. They also offer the rooms on a “shower and nap” basis at a reasonable cost.

The air-conditioning works well and keeps the place at just the right temperature. As with all massage places, the quality of service depends on the boy you get, but they have a growing number to choose from.

I like the look of this place and think it will do very well.

Colonial Bar (Soi V.C.)

They are a Sports Bar with an Irish theme. You can’t miss the huge poster of Bono on the wall. The décor is mostly green. There are four flat screen TVs and they show two different sporting fixtures at the same time (with the sound turned down). Two are out on the terrace and two in the bar itself. Half the bar is devoted to sports, with a dominos and games table and a honky tonk piano. The other half has the bar and is very comfortable.

There are lots of decorations which give the place a real “Irish Pub” feel.

It’s a great bar and has been closed for too long. Nice to see it back open!

Come In

Come InThis bar is rated by many as one of the best in Sunee Plaza. It is still packing them in after years and years of successful trading. It has all the right ingredients, nice boys who are not too pushy and good prices. Fun, friendly and just about right.

Corner Bar

This is a big bar in possibly the best location in Sunee Plaza. It’s a pleasant place to drink the the new owners, Eddy and Ginette and doing their best to make it welcoming. They have new staff and they are keen for you to go inside.

Country Club

Country ClubThis is one bar I seldom go in. I’m not really sure why, but give it a try. You might like it!

Crazy Pub

Crazy Pub

The Crazy Pub should have a plaque outside it as the very first gay bar to open in the area. It has been open for around 20 years and is still going strong. Does very well and has nice lads and nice atmosphere. I like it. Watch if you walk past for the shout of “Thank you for smiling”.

C.U. Bar

CUThis is a bar that can’t make up its mind. Originally part of Villa Rouge, it has been turned into a single unit stand alone bar. The layout is constantly changing. The bar is one side, then the other. They have an electronic darts machine, a table soccer machine, then they don’t. Sometimes they do food. But whatever the combination, they make a good go of it. The boys are welcoming and the regulars are a nice bunch.

Enjoy!

Diamond Bar

Great new bar in Sunee. The staff have exactly the right attitude and are out to please from the word go. The bar is in two halves – one side for farangs with comfy chairs and tables. The other side is set up more as a Thai Whiskey stall with wooden tables and benches. If they can collar both markets they should do very well indeed.

I have a feeling I’m going to become a regular here and I wish them all the luck with it.

Great place!

Duc’s Coffee Shop & Bar

Duc'sFive stars go to this place, for serving the best coffee in Sunee Plaza. Duc’s is an interesting bar all round. The conversation is stimulating, the place is unusual. Check out the book shelves and if you like a book you can buy it. There is a monthly quiz on the 15th which is fun and challenging at the same time. The boys are not pushy at all and will leave you to chat to the other customers. And that’s what this bar is really great for – chatting.

It is great – nothing else to say really – if I could put fanfares on-line you’d be hearing one now. My number one early evening bar.

Eden Bar

Eden BarExciting and fresh. This bar has had a new owner and a great lick of paint. The colour scheme is fun and the boys are too! You’ll enjoy sitting here and watching the world go by. Maybe the Zebra cushions are a bit over the top,  but then the whole effect is. It’s fun, funky and a good call. ENJOY!

Forest House

Large double sized bar on the corner of Sunee Plaza and Soi VC. The boys will welcome you as you walk into the place and start your adventure

Lek’s Bar La Copa

Lek's BarLarge Bar with a few hosts. The bar is dark and not one of my regular haunts.

Monty’s Bar and Cafe

Monty has returned to Pattaya – and come in with a bang. It’s slightly off the beaten track, being just down a small soi off soi V.C., walking away from Sunee Plaza and away from Second road. It’s first on the left. It’s rapidly becoming known as “Soi Monty”

The ground floor is open as a cafe and bar. It has undergone several different styles, mainly bar, mainly cafe, 24 hour deli, Thai food kitchen and now it’s a pearl shop. No one can say Monty doesn’t try!

The upstairs is a private room available for hire. Again this has had different themes – karaoke and “hook-up” bar.

Anyway, the old rogue is back and making a go near Sunee. The “Vegemite” of the area, whether you love him or hate him, pop in and see what the bar’s about.
