A treat and a rare delight! “The Pie” is a nice feature of the gay scene in Pattaya. If you’re in Boyztown at 9pm or just after midnight, or in Sunee Plaza around 11.30, look out for his cart and his smile.He goes all around Pattaya. You may well see him elsewhere. But these are the times he’s in “our” areas.
This is one of the motorcycle food carts that is almost too good to miss. All the pies are just 90B. The range is quite extensive, although later in the evening he’s a bit thin in stock. Thoroughly recommended are high jumbo sausage rolls. If you want to eat them there and then he snips them in half, and then each half into 5 mouthful-sized bits. Served in a plastic tray with brown sauce, it’s a late evening delight.
It doesn’t do the waistline any good, but then this is a holiday (isn’t it?) If you’re a regular, then you can diet tomorrow. Also to be tried are the Cornish pasties, the chicken and bacon pies, in fact just about anything he sells is yummy.
Some people say there’s too much salt in them. However for my taste they’re perfect.
