19/02/12 We’re still none the wiser as to why they closed, but Splash Bar in Pattayaland Soi 1 had its shutters up tonight. They assure us they are going to be back open again tomorrow. We wish them luck again! (They are indeed open – 20/2, but their show has gone. Read what we say here.)
19/02/12 There’s a new video gone on YouTube for Jack’s Party at Happy Place. If you’ve never seen the B-Boys dance, this is a clip of their show. But it’s far better to call in the bar and see the real thing. They’re on every night (apart from Mondays) at Happy Place as part of the 10.30 show.
15/02/12 NEW SITE OPEN!
WHOO HOO! After too long a wait, we have finally finished work on Nicky’s final website. www.NickysGayPhuket.com has been completed and PLEASE go along and have a look at it! There’s a special section on Phuket Pride as well as the usual directory listings, a completely new map of the Paradise Complex, and all our usual features. We’re working in conjunction with a nice man at Backstage Purple, who has supplied a lot of the information for the area. Thanks!
So now the Nicky’s sites are complete. We’ve covered Pattaya, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui and Phuket, with a page on other venues we know about in the rest of Thailand.

23/01/12 No ideas why but Splash Bar in Pattayaland Soi 1 was closed last night. I’ll try and find out if this is short term or permanent. It was a good place and It would be a shame to lose it.
08/12/11 After a short closure, we are happy to announce that Vassa Bar in the cut between Pattayaland Soi 1 and 2 is now open again. They have found a new crop of boys and it’s well worth popping in to look at them.
29/11/11 We have two closures from Pattayaland. In Soi 1, Dynamite is closed. We have no news why and whether this will open again. In the cut through between Soi 1 and 2, Vassa Bar is closed. We have been told this is temporary due to a shortage of boys. We will let you know when/if these re-open.
26/11/11 There’s a new gogo bar in Pattayaland Soi 1. Splash Boys has opened in the site of the old Gentleman’s Club. It’s an interesting place and our reviewer gave it an interesting write-up. Read what he had to say here.
13/11/11 Thong Bar in Boyztown really did open last night. Our reviewer has been along and has seen the place and written it up for us. He’s not completely complimentary, you can read his report here!
06/11/11 There’s a new bar about to open in Pattayaland 1 on the site of the old Gentleman’s Club. It doesn’t yet have a name, but they are advertising for waiters, dancers etc. The projected opening date is the 13th, so we should not have too long to wait to find out what this is about! Review will duly follow as soon as it’s actually open!
04/11/11 There’s a new club opened in Boyztown where the old Amor (Streetlife) used to be. THONG Nightclub and Bar joins the scene.I have been told it’s now open – a friend went on the 2nd and chatted to the owners. It was their first night. Apparently it’s a large open dark bar with little or no furniture and nothing inside. I went yesterday (3rd December) and it was closed – locked, barred and bolted. I guess I should try again!
27/09/11 Dream Boys in Pattayaland Soi 1 has closed. It’s dark and deserted. If there’s any movement on letting or new owners, you’ll know as soon as we do.
26/09/11 Om Hostel de Café in Pattayaland Soi 2 has closed. We’re not 100% sure if this is permanent or temporary, but if it’s the former, it will be one of the shorter lived establishments in the area. As normal, when we know, you’ll know.
22/09/11 At Happy Place Boyztown area, they are doing a special show on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 10.30 starring the B-Boy dancers who will provide a routine shirtless IN ADDITION to the normal show there. These athletic lads will really make the place spin! Don’t miss them.

05/09/11 Street Life in Boyztown has closed. The place has been stripped and we don’t know what the intentions are for the site. When we know we will tell you!
01/09/11 Dynamite in Pattayaland 1 has re-opened. I went up there on their first night and they had around a dozen boys on the stage. There were more doormen and waiters than gogo boys! I wish it every luck in its new configuration. Pop up and see them.
01/09/11 Sawasdee Boys in Pattayaland 1 has now closed. It is due to reopen shortly (I have heard September 9th) as Super Star Show Bar.
