TPO CONCERTS
TPO 8th.Season. 2012 – 2013.
The 8th season of concerts with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra will start in November 2012. Previously the TPO took on a gruelling schedule of two challenging programs per month for ten months. This year they are offering a program every week. Every year the music selected pushes the musicians to their limits, and every year they attain new levels of confidence and ability. It should see the orchestra become the first full time professional orchestra in Thailand and resident in their new home, The Mahidol Performing Arts Centre. I truly hope you find something of interest in this forthcoming season, and I look forward to seeing you on one of our regular Saturday outings. For more information see their website www.thailandphil.com
Regular minibus trips are run from Sunee Plaza, Pattaya to most of the Saturday concerts. Unless otherwise stated all concerts are on Saturdays starting at 16.00. They leave from the Sunee Plaza area at 12.00 mid day and arrive at about 14.30. This allows ample time to enjoy a lunch in the Lakeside Restaurant. Concerts usually end about 18.00 and they are back in Pattaya around 20.30. Ticket price is just 300 Baht.
