This page details all the restaurants I know of, outside the main areas. I’m sure I’ve missed a few, so please let me know about any using the comment form at the bottom. I’ll add more as I get to know about them. If you have a photo, it’s always handy!

All these places are marked on my main map of Pattaya if you want to find out their exact location. Check the page here

Froggy’s French Bistro – Soi Paniad Chang 2

What a lovely place! It was most unexpected when we came across it. Run by Gilles and Anon, a lovely couple, this bistro is tucked away and hard to find. It’s on Soi Paniad Chang, the road that runs down the side of the old Carrefour in Pattaya Klang, 1.4 km along the road. It’s on the junction of soi 2, on the left. Not too hard to find when you know where it is.

The food is wonderful. The Thai menu is authentic (it should be) and reasonably priced. The French menu is to die for. Their set menu at 190B can’t be beaten and is worth the drive. Give it a try – I’m sure you’ll go back – we will!

For more information see their website on www.froggyfrenchbistro.com

They regularly offer the following:
A lunch special at 190 B
An evening set menu for 3 courses at 250B
A Sunday lunch special
Every month there is a 5 course “Degustation” menu

Lemon Tree Cafe on Soi Buakhao Market

Good restaurant if a little hard to find. On Tuesdays and Fridays there’s a market at the Pattaya Tai end of Soi Buakhao. It’s really hard to get to the Lemon Tree on these days, but sometimes worth persevering. On other days it’s much easier. Walk along the Pattaya Tai side of the market and you can’t miss it. Alternately take a small side soi on the other side of Pattaya Tai from Friendship and when you break out into the market it’s on the left.

The cafe does good food and has recently hosted a fundraiser for “Take Care”, a condom charity for the area. If you’re around and fancy a meal support one of our supporters.
