Cartier’s Gogo on Soi Leng Kee

I’ll start by describing where Soi Leng Kee is. It’s a small soi that joins Soi Buakhao to Third Road. Sill no wiser? If you go along Third Road and look for XZYTE disco, you’ve gone too far! Come back a little and you have Hotman Karaoke sign with illuminated signs on the same side of the road. Come back one more soi and that’s Soi Leng Kee. It’s just opposite Tony’s Gym. Turn down the soi it’s about 150m on the right hand side. OK so now you’ve found it, why go there? Well it’s probably had the longest running sex show of any gay gogo bar in Pattaya. It’s the usual, shower scene, naked boys dancing under UV lights with luminous paint on them, big cock tricks like banging a drum and playing golf, sometimes things being pulled out of places they had no business getting into and sometimes a suck or fuck show at the end. The boys are all older and hunky (mainly straight). The off fee is horrendous and the drinks are 200B each, but just once in a while it’s fun for a change. Most of the patrons are straight women, but why not? If you sit with a boy and buy enough drinks, a great time can be had. Worth a try now and then.

There are three shows a night, notionally at 9.30, 10.30 and 11.30 with the boys standing around on the stage, three or four at a time, gogo style in between. There are never too many boys there – between 6 and 10 is the norm. Flash a few 20s and they’ll come and coyote dance on a podium next to you.

G-U-Y Club on Walking Street

Based in Walking Street, this is a new departure from the norm. More of a host bar than a gogo bar, it still features topless guys later in the evening and it gets pretty raunchy in there around midnight. It is run by the same people as Wild West, and frequently they have the cabaret show from there down in Walking Street. I’m not sure if it’s for the entertainment of the potential patrons of the bar, rather than the actual customers inside. The shirtless boys outside calling you in need to do a good job though as most of the people walking along will be straight. Maybe that’s their market? Taking over from Cartier’s attracting straight ladies?

To find it, go along Walking Street from the beach road end towards Bali Hai Pier. It’s on the left, just after Lucifer and before Goodfellows. A single unit, look out for the shirtless boys!
