This is the hardest are for me to keep a check on as they tend to happen way after my bed time! The late night discos rarely open before midnight and go on to the not so small hours of the morning. There have been a lot, on and off, but the best of my research has determined there are now just two. if you think I’m wrong, please let me know from the contact page. The normal format is to go there with a gaggle of Thai boys (take the staff of your favourite bar after closing) and buy a bottle of whiskey. They don’t charge much for this, BUT be careful. All the mixers and even ice are charged as extras! However the total bill isn’t too much. You can have a really fun evening and get a great deal of credit with the bar staff you take!

The Club off 3rd Road

New Karaoke just opened. It’s not too easy to find. The best way is to go South on 3rd road, past the old (now demolished) XZYTE disco, and past Soi Leng Kee, heading towards Pattaya Tai. JUST after these two you can see “The Club” down an alleyway on the right hand side. If you get to Soi 27, you’ve gone too far.

OK. It’s another new Thai karaoke. It’s shiny, loud and has nice boy coyote dancers. Apart from that I’m still waiting for someone to stay up late enough to report back to me on it! Their opening party looked interesting …

Free food, big party, shows, dancers … all looks fun!

 

 

The Dave Man Club

Dave Man ClubThe Dave is becoming an institution in Pattaya. it is a hugely successful late night venue with a large gay following. The have special events at frequent intervals and plenty of offers. Of the late night discos, this is my favourite! It’s not hard to find, just go to the junction of Second Road and Pattaya Klang (Pattaya Central Road) and it’s in the corner. The Thai boys you are with will show you exactly where!

Idol Club – 2nd Road Soi 4

“We dropped by Idol at about 2 am sun nite – funny looking building, purple colour with what looks like some sort of red painted crown over the entrance – See it at Idol Pattaya @FB

It’s a big space, high roof, kind of in a wide V format, with the smallish stage and runway in the centre and tables area fanning out to left to right
It is finished to a good standard, good lasers/lights/sound systems as you would expect from a new place
Price wise it is same as Nab from what I could see.

Same same as others – gay club with coyotes, gay punters + whiskey lights and music”

Nab Club

nabLate night gay disco in Pattaya. Situated off 2nd Road near to Alcazar. Look for the McDonalds on the left going along Second Road just before Alcazar and go down by the side of it.

Very popular at weekends with visitors as well as local Thai guys. Favourite haunt for gay boys after they finish work at the bars, restaurants etc.

T & T Soi Yensabai

T & T - very unimposing in the day time.

Interesting place which goes under a number of different guises. In the evening it’s a bar, gay friendly, but it doesn’t have much to distinguish it from 1,000 other small bars around Pattaya. However it’s the late night when this gets interesting. It changes in the early morning. Around 5 am, it changes and becomes more a karaoke place. It finally closes around 10am. It’s where the Thai boys go when they just don’t want to go to bed. Part disco and part Thai karaoke, you have to try it once in your life. My usual advice. Rustle up a gang of Thai boys and head over there. It’s the usual “buy a bottle of whiskey cheap” and pay for the mixers and ice.

Oh let me try to tell you where it is. From Soi Day/Night, head away from Tukcom and Pattaya Tai, till you hit the back cross road. This is soi 17 – it has the beer wholesalers on it. Turn left and head towards third road. Take the first right and it’s down there on the right. Alternately from Sunee Plaza, go out the “back” and walk past Happy Boys. Keep going and it’s along this road on the left. Any taxi driver or Thai lad will know it and help you find it.

UPDATE 01/02/12 I may be a bit late on this one, but T & T VERY late night karaoke has definitely gone. Someone told me “one of its 2 shophouses has now been knocked into the next door open karaoke bar and the main door has also now been bricked up… If T&T comes back it will not be in the same location”. This is not quite the case. There is a new sign there now saying ‘Stor Corner’ and the old illuminated T&T Pub sign has gone, but there is still a karaoke there and according to my friend it’s open from around 8pm to 4am.

Triangle Super Club, Second Road

This is a brand new late night disco, located in Second Road, next door to Alcazar. It’s right opposite the McDonalds in front of Nab. They have a good crop of boys and the drinks prices are right (for a disco).

It looks really good and I know people who have been there and say it is good. With the number of gay discos on the increase again, any new ones will have to work hard to make an impression. I wish them all the best.
