Quite appropriately the new French Restaurant in Sunee Plaza, Le Marina, chose Valentine’s day to open. What can we say? Well, it’s really nice. The décor is wonderful. The addition of net curtains makes you feel a little secluded and not “on show” to the rest of the world. yet at the same time you can watch who is walking by (if you wish to).
The prices are spot on. For example they have a set meal at 290B. Steaks are between 250 and 380B, etc. You get the picture. Our reviewer went there and this is what she said: “We went there and ate. The two of us both had the same set meal (bad planning). I’ll keep it short and to the point. The meal was great value at 290B. The soup was pea, and putting it kindly the flavour was ‘delicate’. The portion was HUGE. The bowl was a square basin filled with soup. Neither of us could finish it. The beef medallions were VERY tasty. Perfect portion size. Too big for me but the right size for my hubby. The service needs work, but this is only the second night and it wasn’t too bad. We’ll probably go back in a few weeks once they have settled down. It’s a good alternative to some of the other places in Day/Night and around.”
It looks good and should do really well – try it!
