Pattaya Hotmale Information Centre

pattaya hotmaleA great new addition to the area (and to Pattaya as a whole) is the information centre in the Jomtien complex. Run by Pattaya Hotmale and their team, this offers a 6 day a week place to get all the local news, gossip and a cup of coffee. Call in there. It’s in the same soi as the Venue and near the Dolce Vita. Mike (the owner) will make you very welcome.

Jomtien Language School

If you want to learn French, English or Thai, this is definitely the place to go. The teachers are friendly and they will welcome you to their classes. They will provide classes at all levels and even make classes for you and your boyfriend at the same time – he can learn English or French while you learn Thai!

They are licensed by the Ministry of Education, and offer a really good service. Located in Thappraya Road, they are only a few metres from the beach, leaving Jomtien heading towards Pattaya on the right hand side. You can call them on 038 059 602 or 089 143 2285. If you need it they can organise an Ed visa for you as well!

P2 Coffee Lounge, fashion store, residence


Advertising itself as a coffee lounge, decoration art, fashion store and residence, it is gaining customers and a reputation. It’s very up-market and the prices of the clothes reflect that. The quality is there, and that’s a good thing. However the coffee is good and the atmosphere is nice. Well worth popping into and checking it out!

Spilia Karaoke

spiliaNew Karaoke lounge attached to the Ganymede Complex. A great idea as it has filled a “hole” in the market in Jomtien. It is well organised and although not my personal cup of tea, the boys I was with on the night I visited had a great time and a fantastic party. They have three private lounges and a main karaoke room. They are open nightly from 10pm to 6am and advertise a “party every night”. I can vouch for a party on the night I went, give it a try… and if you don’t like karaoke, take some Thais along with you who do and the party mood will carry you along!

Thonglor Clinic


This is a new branch of an established clinic. It has been open in Bangkok for some time and they opened the Jomtien branch at the beginning of July. It’s new a sparkly clean and anxious to help the gay community. They offer services ranging from plastic surgery, sex changes, Botox injections, laser treatment and everything you’d expect a top class Beauty Clinic to provide. Their target audience is both Western and Thai, so both you and your loved one can visit for the treatments you desire. Their rates are reasonable and they are very happy to discuss any form of therapy with you.

I’ve been in there and seen the facility and it”s really a friendly place. Their brochure shows two men embracing, so that gives you an indication of the way they operate.

Anyway this type of work isn’t undertaken lightly and so I’d suggest you pop in and see them. They are on the Thappraya Road, as you come out of Jomtien going towards Pattaya on the right, just after Brunos. They have a large hoarding above the building – it’s very hard to miss it.

You can go to one of their rare shows around and see sexy Thais parading in their goodies. Seriously this is a place that caters for those who like a thong or sexy bikini and want to go to the beach looking top dollar!
