  Bondi Beach Guesthouse The Bondi Bar & Guesthouse is located directly overlooking the gay area of Dongtan Beach. They offer accommodation, food & a busy bar that is now open 24 hours a day! All en-suite rooms offer a sea view, prices differ depending on the time of year & your length of stay. They are all equipped with Tea/Coffee making facilities, TV & DVD player, fridge & Air Conditioning. A wide range of food is available in the bar including the All Day English Breakfast at only 90 baht!! 2 Fried eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 slices of toast, butter & jam & tea or coffee – Bargain! The bar also has daily drinks promotions with offers on beers, spirits, cocktails etc. Nightly entertainment is on offer with resident musicians Willy and Mandy. On Wednesdays they have their famous Bingo and on Sundays they have a pig roast! The Bondi Quiz Night on the last Sunday of every month raises funds for Thais4life. The Bondi also supports Thais4life charity by having a selection of used paperbacks available for 80baht each AND they will exchange for another book for 40baht when you’ve finished!   Claudio’s Residence and Restaurant Nice rooms and restaurant. The restaurant serves a mix of European and Thai. It’s a nice quality, if a tad pricey. The rooms are clean and a reasonable price. They are well appointed with all the expected amenities. Gives the other places in the area a good run for the money. Worth looking at.   D. D. Inn Tucked away in the small soi in the corner of Thappraya Road and the gay beach road is the D.D. Inn. Possibly the cheapest gay guesthouse around, advertising rooms at 500B per night. They’re pretty basic, but they have air conditioning, a T.V., shower and clean sheets. That’s all I want. It’s really a case of you pay your money and take your choice! For a budget hotel this is my number one choice and I’d recommend anyone to go here. See their website here for more info – ddinn.wordpress.com

   

  East Suites This is an amazing place at an unbeatable price. The rooms are really 5 star at prices that are unbeatable. You will have to go a long way to find luxury in rooms like this. Look at their website and see. The small picture here does not do them justice. At 850B a night for the smallest room (which is anything BUT small), to 1250B for the enormous room (140m2) you can not beat this. I could go on and on about this place, but if you want luxury at great rates go here. Check out their website here – www.east-suites.com

   

  Ganymede Bar and Residence Well, this place has come on leaps and bounds. With the addition of Themae spa and Spilia karaoke, it’s now a mini complex in its own right. The residence is great. The rooms are fresh and clean and a good price. They are frequently full, so book well in advance. The bar is well stocked with boys and drink and the former will delight in serving you the latter. I can’t say too much – just I’ve given it a rare 5 star rating and suggest strongly you go along and try its delights. You can look at their website here – www.ganymede-jomtien.com

   

  Good Buddies Inn Nice new small guesthouse in Jomtien. It’s on the small soi tucked between Thappraya Road and the gay beach. it’s very clean and the owners are keen to help you. The rates are very good – ranging from 600 to 800B a night.The rooms have all the expected amenities, but few frills. The bar area is particularly nice and welcoming. It feels like a good place to drop into on the way back from the beach. They should do very well, but they are small so don’t leave it long before you try them.

   

  Haus Mewie Guesthouse Boutique German guesthouse above La Dolce Vita Bar. Rates and services are OK. All rooms are air-conditioned, with wifi and all the services you’d expect. In my opinion made by the food served downstairs!

   

  Iluka Guesthouse Fairly new guesthouse next to Poseidon. It’s fresh and clean and has a good atmosphere. They have just completed phase 2 of their refurbishment and have some great new rooms and options. If you’re thinking of staying in the area it’s certainly worth considering.Check out the news page for their promotions. Check out their website here – www.iluka-residence.com

   

  Orchid Guesthouse The Orchid Guesthouse is just 5 minutes walk from Dong Tan Beach and the Jomtien Complex. It’s a quiet 4 bedroom boutique guesthouse which provides all the facilities you’d expect. The rates are very reasonable and the service is personal. They have a small jacuzzi pool and a sun-deck area, as well as the usual wifi. Check out their website here – www.orchid-guesthouse-pattaya.com

   

  P2 residence Advertising itself as a coffee lounge, decoration art, fashion store and residence, it is gaining customers and a reputation. It’s very up-market and the prices of the clothes reflect that. The quality is there, and that’s a good thing. However the coffee is good and the atmosphere is nice.   Poseidon Hotel Their motto is “Luxury need not be expensive”. This is an upmarket boutique hotel. They make a really great job of it and the place has a wonderful reputation.  The location is perfect and the service can’t be faulted. Rates start from 1450B per night low season. They have 5 different room categories providing a high level of comfort and guarantee you a very refreshing holiday. Besides the welcome drink on arrival, fresh flowers and their Monday Cocktail, you will get a daily newspaper. Of course, all the rooms are equipped with air conditioners, in-room safe, minibar, coffee and tea, cable TV, DVD player and European bathrooms. They really are trying to get the market they deserve. In one small way I can’t do enough to promote them here. it’s a good place! SPECIAL UPDATE – on 1st July they opened their new pool, sauna, exercise area and massage facility. (See the photo above) It’s added a really nice feel to the place and completed the renovations. This is a wonderful area to relax in after you get back from the beach before going out for the evening. Really nice! Check out their website here – www.poseidon-pattaya.com

   

  Room Club A very select hotel on the beach at Dong Tan, Jomtien. You could not get more in the thick of the gay beach scene. The rooms are very deluxe and you get all the service you could want. Unfortunately the prices reflect that. They have a nice swimming pool and a fusion restaurant to tempt you. There are no joiner’s fees for guests.   Tui’s Place Guesthouse Comfortable guesthouse on the Dong Tan beach. Great location. Tui says he has been there for 14 years and he certainly has built up a reputation and a regular crowd. There’s also a great restaurant for you to eat in. The guesthouse is (fairly) quiet at night – possibly only disturbed by the sound of Thai boys playing beach volleyball. It’s an institution and you have to experience it to be a part of it. Check out their website here – www.tuisplace.com

   

  Two Faces Guesthouse Great venue in the heart of Jomtien Complex offering a multitude of services!! A large open air bar & cafe serving reasonably priced drinks & excellent coffee. Very relaxed atmosphere & the bar boys are friendly but not overpowering.  Free WIFI internet access is available. Accommodation upstairs features several Thai style rooms starting at 850 baht per night. Rooms are large with 4 poster beds, table & chairs, en-suite bathroom, fridge & safe.   The Venue Residence Boutique residence, spa, showbar, and all things good in the heart of the Jomtien Complex and within easy reach of the beach. It has been open long enough now to settle down and some of the early teething troubles have passed. It’s now great. There’s no other word for it. The residence has a pool and spa, wifi in every room, and all the luxuries you could want. Rates are reasonable and all in all it’s a good place to stay. Recently reviewed as the best place for its price in Pattaya, I’m not in a position to argue with that. Many people consider its show to be the best in Pattaya.   View Talay Apartments The View Talay company has built a number of condos in Pattaya over the years. One of the more popular is View Talay 1, which is located on the Thappraya Road as you head out of Jomtien. It’s very close to Jomtien Complex and the bars there, and a short Baht bus ride to the beach (or a 20 minute walk). There are a number for rent on a short or long term basis, but we have the details for a specific on on the third floor. It has: Luxury En Suite Shower Room Kingsize Bed Full Air Conditioning Ceiling and Floor Fans Walk In Closet with Safety Box TV/DVD with full Sophon Cable TV Patio Area with chair Pantry Area with fridge, microwave, toaster, tea and coffee making.
