Just one gay guesthouse in Soi Day/Night. The New Day Night hotel and the apartments at Day/Night 2 are not particularly gay-friendly. I’ve also added three apartment places/rooms and they cover the spectrum. So you have four to choose from here. There are others around, but more and more are getting taken over by Arabs and they are not gay friendly at all. Baan Dok Mai Guesthouse

baan dok mai 1Literally “The Flower House”. A nice gay owned guesthouse in the heart of the area. The rooms are from 850 Baht a night and this goes up in the high season, but it’s good value for money and a nice venue. If you’re looking for accommodation, this certainly would be one I’d try. It also has a nice clean cafe downstairs with a good range of cheap food.

Flamingo Hotel

In a walk down memory lane, Flamingo Hotel has opened up now as a hotel again. It had a phase of being long-term apartments, but now is back to hotel only. The rate is 650B a day and it’s good value for that. They are all newly refurbished, if a tad on the economical side.

The rooms are nicely appointed with air-conditioning, TVs etc.The location couldn’t be better and the price range is right, comparing what you get with other places around. If you’re in the market for a nice hotel, well located in South Pattaya, give them a try.

Mosaik Apartments

Mosaik ApartmentsVery luxurious, reasonably new apartments in the heart of Soi Day/Night. They are an institution. They are beautifully appointed and not too expensive, considering what you get. There are a number of different blocks with different styles, from studio to two/three bedrooms.

If you’re here for a while and fancy a nice place look no further than Mosaik.

T.B. Mansions

tb mansionI know very little about this place. The rooms are clean and cheap, but I’ve never stayed there. The main thing I like is the name. If ever there was a name that brings impressions in one’s mind this is it! If you Google T.B. Mansion you’d be amazed what you get.

Anyway it’s cheap and acceptable.
