ADVERT

The photos of boys in any venue’s profile does not indicate they actually work there currently. Due to the temporary nature of work in Pattaya, waiters and hosts come and go with alarming regularity. Although we attempt to keep the list of venues up to date, it would be a never ending task keeping the pictures up to date. However we do try …

Click on any bar to reach their individual page, should you wish to read or leave any comments about them. All the pictures will expand to give a larger version if clicked on. Some of the information in this section is given courtesy of:

The Go Go Boys tend to be slightly older & more muscular at this venue which does make a change from many of the other similar establishments.

Normal drinks prices for a Go Go bar with good music & friendly staff. Not too pushy!

CupidolNew re-vamp from the old Tai boys which used to be here and a new owner (Pikky) Nice feel and when I went in the boys were quite animated and lively. It had a good atmosphere in it. Drinks are medium priced – around 150 Baht. Slightly older boys.

David Cabaret

Happy Place

Happy Place is the new go-go bar right there where all night life of gay Pattaya is boiling. The state of art technical equipment, the lighting, sound system, bubble and smoke machines are ready to entertain you to the full. But of course that is not a main thing that they are proud of. The wonderful guys are wonderful and seem to love to dance. The cabaret show is daring and well worth seeing.

And they also give the boy a 1,000 Baht tip so there is no need for you to think of any money and just be happy! Jet Set A GoGo

jet setFormer karaoke, now opened as a gogo boy bar. Its an upstairs bar above Lucky 777. It’s nicely set out, with couches karaoke style instead of more traditional bench seats. When I went up there I was the only customer. They had 6 boys on the stage, mainly younger and cute, but that’s just one man’s opinion (the cute bit, not the fact there were 6 boys).

They advertise Happy Hour drinks, but I couldn’t find out when the Happy Hours were! Soft drinks 100B, beer 120B.

Worth a quick pop in, I’ll be watching to see how it develops.

Kawa ii Boys

Kawaii BoysNice bar with a stage on one side and the seats banked up on the other. The boys sit on the stage and “jiggle” for your entertainment. About 10 boys last time I went in and the drinks were a little pricey (180 Baht). But its fun and there are some real cuties there.

Lucky 777

This used to be a girlie bar but opened up with a  nice selection of lads. The staff are very friendly and don’t make themselves too pushy. Drinks on the cheap side of the price range and it has slightly older boys in general. Central stage as many of the places here.

Splash Boys

Splash Boys has recently re-opened after a period of being closed. Their show has gone and they are now just a normal gogo bar. The boys are nice and the drinks are reasonable, but there’s not much now to differentiate it from the others in the area.

Still, we wish them well and hope they make a go of it!

Super Star Showbar

Showbar which opened on September 9th. We were there on the first night and can give a good report of the proceedings. The drinks are not cheap (170 B for a soft drink), but that’s average for the area. The gogo boys before the show were very active and danced well. There were 5 on at a time, but they danced to two or three numbers and then changed. It might have been nice if they changed a little more frequently.

There are two shows nightly, one at 10.30 and the other at 12.10. As for the show itself, it was of good quality. The choreography, dancing and costumes were all good, and the dancers were quite sexy. If they keep this standard up, they could become a real force in the show quarters of Pattaya.

Pop in yourself and see what you think!

Toy Boys

toy boysPopular gogo bar located in Pattayaland Soi 3 Boyztown. Large central stage with lots of boys & reasonable drinks prices. Boys are not pushy but will make eye contact from the stage or from the seating area around you.

Vassa Boys

vassaSmall single unit gogo in the cross street linking Pattayaland Soi 1 and 2. It’s under-rated and should get a better press than it does. Nice selection of boys and they are quite adventurous in the bar. I enjoy going here.

Wild West Boys

Wild West BoysLarge bar with an enormous cast of boys. Interested to watch the number who wear mobile phones in the back strap of their very small thongs! They have a show which is possibly the best I have seen in town. Well choreographed with a number of different scenes. Look out for the shower scene – this is very erotic!

When I was there one time there was a rather boring drag queen as part of the show. Two of the younger boys, quite spontaneously , started to mess around by and in the shower. When they saw I and several others were watching they continued and gave us quite a private show!

Shows at 10.30 pm and 12.00 nightly and this is definitely one to put in your book. The boys range in age from young and cute to quite old and muscular with all types in between. Drinks average price and seats comfy. if you’re going for the show, go early and make sure you can see the stage. Normally best to sit on the right as the boys all face that way.

X Boys

UPDATED 18/01/12 I went to the bar tonight and boy has it changed! It’s really good and refreshing. They had a plentiful crop of boys on the stage for the gogo. They were of all sorts of boys – big and tall, short and slim, tattoos, no tattoos, gay, straight … Apart from very muscly I’m sure there would be something there to suit your taste. The boys were all animated and lively and truly seemed to be enjoying themselves. Most of them danced to the music and they were all smiling.

The show itself was very good. They advertise a show at 10.00, one at 11.30 and a final one at 00.45. It was interesting and humorous at the same time. The show was quite long (45 minutes) and far from boring. I can recommend it.

UPDATE 06/02/12 I went back to the bar today. The show was not nearly as interesting as before. I forgot to mention their drinks prices – 180B for a soft drink and 200B for alcohol. It’s a lot to pay for a small glass of soda water – even with the show. Their off fee is 500B.
